Emotional resilience through embodied healing
Kintsugi is the ancient Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold, an approach that honors the beauty in reparation.
At Association Kintsugi, we are dedicated to promoting mental health and psychological well-being through a unique blend of somatic psychotherapy and body-mind practices. By integrating these powerful approaches, we help individuals transform their emotional fractures into sources of strength and resilience.

Activities
Integrative therapy
I offer psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. My approach is integrative, drawing from systemic therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Psychotherapy is process that we engage in together. I do not use a single “technique”, but rather tailor my approach to each person’s singularity, specific challenges and needs. I aim to help you reconnect with your own psychological, physical, and relational resources, to better navigate the ups and downs of life.
Adapted yoga for trauma survivors
I offer small, supportive group classes specifically designed for trauma survivors. These sessions combine psychoeducation with yoga postures, helping participants reconnect with their bodies and gently engage in the healing process.
Trauma leaves an imprint on the body, even when memories are fragmented or absent. This silent, embodied memory can make physical sensations, touch, and closeness feel overwhelming. Through mindful movement and body awareness, we work together to reclaim the body’s wisdom, taking steps toward empowerment, emotional regulation, and psychological healing.
Bonnie Brusky
I am a clinical psychologist, systemic family therapist, and yoga practitioner with a deep passion for body-mind psychotherapies and the transformative power of the mind-body connection.
After earning my degree in psychology in 1995, I embarked on a career in international development, only to find my way back to psychology in 2020. My journey has taken me across Africa, Latin America, and Asia, where living and working in diverse cultures has taught me the values of curiosity, openness, and tolerance—principles that now deeply inform my therapeutic approach.
I believe in the lifelong pursuit of knowledge, and in 2024, I completed a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Integrative Psychopathology. My areas of interest include post-traumatic stress, dissociation, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and body-based approaches to healing.
I offer sessions in both English and French, and my goal is to help individuals and families not only overcome life’s challenges but reconnect with their innate capacity for growth and healing.
